Mornin' all! I'd be more cheery but that snow that fell two days ago is still here (it's -20C, going to -30C tomorrow), and I haven't had my coffee yet ...

Mrs. USSA had successful and uncomplicated surgery to relieve pressure on a nerve in her foot. Very similar to carpel tunnel, except in the foot instead of wrist/hand. Several weeks of healing and taking it easy should let her finally get back on the road to the active lifestyle that we both love. Between her successful back surgery last December, and now the foot, she hasn't been able to run or cycle for more than 3 years.

I have not run in many, many years. If I could show the X-ray pictures of my right foot, you might understand why.[X(]

Thanks all for the well wishes for Mrs. USSA. She is doing great, experiencing very little discomfort and no real pain. She's already planning to stop the pain medication as of tomorrow morning. [8D]

When I had my surgery, I couldn't go home until I went 24 hours without pain meds....GP
