How to Run Two-Day Turns

Post by John 3rd »

I am shifting my match with Paul from One-Day to Two-Day turns. Have never done this before and could use advice.

How is it best to plot a Two-Day turn? What should I be aware of? Look out for??? Don't try????

Thanks for the thoughts!

Can you switch mid-game?

pls report back as to how it went. There are times in any game when it would be nice to accelerate things!

Try to arrange your raiding CVTFs so that they approach the enemy base or TF on the 2nd of the two turns. I've
played the game only once (and as Allied) since IJ Payers seem to like daily turns, but it worked well and I arranged a CV battle so that I smashed the KB early to mid 43). Unfortunately my opp quit after that. It was a while back (a long while) but I think search/recon and sigint play a more pronounced role in the game than with one-day turns.

The only word that comes to mind is "carefully." The only time I tried it most everything went wrong.

I am really, REALLY enjoying these turns! Day ONE is thoroughly planned and Day TWO usually proves to be a bit more...shall I say...interesting...

So, I assume it was possible to switch from 1 to 2 day turns during a game?

Yes.
