Air vs Convoy

Has anyone seen this work since the update?

I am wondering since I have a tactical bomber 2 hexes from an enemy convoy route...
It is set on naval and it just sits...
I also have a level bomber 8 hexes away...and again...it just hangs out.

Really need them to do their job.

Wonder what I might be missing...

Does is matter if they are on Mission or Full Support?

I have put them on Full Support with the latest patch and it works.

in my current game my opponent has a tac bomber that keeps hitting my resupply in norway.

my fighters are intercepting it though.

it's weird that fighters can intercept there, but land based fighters never seem to defend friendly fleets when they get hit by enemy air.

It turns on and off and yes...there is only one lane.

New thought...perhaps they are not attacking the convoy because they are bombing the port they are in range of?
Wish I had a choice...rather sink merchants.
