Still a beauty, and it still has a Kingfisher scout plane. You can easily spend a full day touring that ship.


At the time I toured it, I had no clue that BBs could launch and recover aircraft. It was pretty mind blowing to my teenage self. As was the size of the shells her 16" guns hurled, holy cow. I knew they were big, but standing next to them in the flesh really puts it into perspective.
