Free Nations

Post by Jagger2002 »

Ok, I am learning the game and playing first turns to a get feel for gameplay as France. I see I have gained a number of free states on turn one and they are apparently now my allies. I noticed England is now at war with all of my free states. So how do I determine what free states belong to England? Or for that matter, the free states of any other major power? Thanks.

Welcome. Two things you can do. #1 is click the top menu button for Show All Nations Report. That shows the diplomatic
status overview for every major and minor power. #2 is to right-click the strategic mini map and select highlighting for Free States. That will graphically show who controls what and who isn't controlled. Easy. Enjoy!
