Amphibious Landing Supply

Post by Staufenberg44 »

I'll be going through the manual for this but a quick answer would help me for now the the Axis China 1937 game.

Attacking Shanghai with landings how is it possible to supply your beachheads? How does an HQ landing with you help? You have a 3-turn window before the effects of no supply basically paralyze your troops.

Thanks in advance.

From the manual, this is like a supply truck.

Thanks much for that. Does a landed HQ not mitigate things--truck supply for example?

And forgive my asking things before I comb through the manual. I like to jump in and learn as I go with a scenario that does not demand a full-breadth understanding of things--i.e. the early land war in China for Japan. So one other thing: I assume large fleets can assist land attacks with bombardments within range? how so?

Thanks again.

If your landed HQ is out of supply, it won't do much. Naval stack can support with shore bombardment. See here:
