I don't know if I should post a bug report or not. But I am tempted to say there is a bug.
This submarine has 0 anti-air value.

Chancellor Gorkon to Captain James T. Kirk:
You don't trust me, do you? I don't blame you. If there is to be a brave new world, our generation is going to have the hardest time living in it.
There is nothing in advancement that can increase the anti-air value at any level.

Now, look at the result of this Naval Air Strike. My bombers are taking 4 step losses. Why?
My bombers have already passed the fighter cover.
There is nothing justifying this loss.

Next Naval Air Strike and my bombers are taking another 5 step losses.
Again, why?

Third Naval Air Strike and strangely enough, no losses for my bombers. Like if the fighter cover is providing an hidden bonus?

And if you are asking, there are no AAA guns in Malta. By the way, does AAA guns have a range of one hex or only on the hex where they are located?

The number of losses that is indicated in "Naval Air Strike" is the sum of losses of the two previous combats. What happens that indicates it as if it were only from the bombing.
Check the losses of the Nibbio unit and you will see that it has had 1 and 2 losses, and not 4 and 5.
My native language is Spanish, and no English language mastery, sorry.
Oh wow. I never knew that either. Seems like its definitely a display bug then since it is indicating all the previous hits were on the 1 plane where they were actually across multiple planes.
The report is misleading at best. Any possibility to enhance? Keep 0 for Naval Air Strike if there is no damage done. Of course, it can be something else with ships.

Would definitely better if that line was changed to just indicate the air losses caused by AA/land/naval units that are being bombed instead of some weird sum of losses.
There is no need to reinvent the wheel. The Land Air Strike gives the losses taken during the land air strike without interception.
I would like exactly the same for the Naval Air Strike. I want the losses taken during the naval air strike not a total of anything. I can still count. [:D]
