No matter what resolution I set my machine at I can not get the graphics to look smooth. No optimum resolution described in game manual. Is this how the game is supposed to look?

This is the first time I purchased a game like this, and I am not sure what my expectations of the graphics should be.

Krispy,
What sort of monitor do you have? Do you have any screenshots of the lack of smoothness of the graphics?
The game fixes the monitor resolution at 1024x768, so setting the resolution differently on your desktop will make no difference.

A follow up question to alexs. What kind of video card do you have?
