Messe Underrated

Seems odd that one of the few Italian generals who was promoted based on merit, and one of the few with actual mechanized experience at multiple levels has such low stats. Glaringly a mech stat of just 3. I'm not saying he is a Gunderin, but I think a 6 mech, as well as maybe other changes would be fair.

The (mostly) bad performance of the Italians in WWII stemmed from a variety of factors, I believe Military History Visualized made some nice points on this topic years ago:

I feel this game overdoes it by making the Italians worst in every category. In game, the Italian divisions have bad/insufficient equipment, the Italian generals suck and the morale of the Italian troops is the lowest, when in reality, it was a combination of these factors. You don't have to make the Italians worst in every category to simulate their historical performance, there is room enough for letting them have SOME decent generals like Messe.
