Scenario query

Post by devoncop »

Hi

In Day 1 of the Ninh Binh battle which I just started the French have a mission to get a Commander across to the east side of the river to safety. Would that be the "Chef CCO" unit ? Its not very clear which commander needs to be spirited away ...

Cheers

Ian

Ah, not the leader, they should lead from the front. "Follow me, this way my men!" It is the HQ at "21,33" the SMEAC was talking about. It is quite vulnerable in where it is located, initially. Lose it, your logistics including supply levels will suffer!

This scenario is by David Galster with my Lua code for Event Engine. My suggestion would be to not trust too much on VM leniency...

That is a fun scenario series, where in some scenarios you are assigned the VM side. They are a hoot to play, too!

You are not kidding about David's lack of VM leniency scripting are you ? [:)]

7 turns in and some ferocious assaults coming in. At least the HQ's are safe on the estern bank now (got to keep the aristocracy safe havent we) ? 🙂

Amphibious reinforcements just showing up ...just gotta get em landed safely somewhere !

Great scenario. Its a culture change from the others I have played so far as the French artillery doesnt get penalised for bombarding VM in villages...

Less TV reporters and press around in 1951 ...makes all the difference :-)
