Firing Animation Speed?

I've been playing Campaign Series games for easily over a decade, it's one of my all-time favorites. Very impressed with CSVN so far - I just had one question. The animation speed option only affects the movement speed of units during player and AI turns, not the firing speed. Is that by design or a bug? I know in JTCS and CSME the firing speed is affected by that option (I for one personally prefer a bit more of a fast-moving game). Thanks to the CS Legion for a great product!

I am not sure off the top of my head.

But... I would imagine it is WAD. Primarily to ensure that the there is some consistency with the firing animations and the sound animations (some are longer than others). Possibly with modifying of the sound files this will be a possibility, but berto would know best.

Yes. This fiddling with the animation speeds messes with the sound files timing. It is a nightmare to coordinate every possible sound-to-graphic combination.
