Battle of Giong Dinh

I have made the map of Battle of Giong Dinh but I have suffered minor defeat, I have captured the victory points and I have defended them until the last turn, during the battle they have induced me to find supply east of point 6 I have not been able to find it. what is point 6? How to put a unit on patrol? I have done something wrong

You'll want to send part of your French force to scour the countryside. (A couple companies in different directions, maybe leaving the heavy weapons and one company to protect the points)

If you sat in the village on the objectives, you missed half the mission.

You need to track down the Headquarters and various supply units (supply and porters) to gain the victory.

At the end of the map, the position of the supply to be found has been revealed, I am not putting it here to avoid spoilers, is the position different in each game or is it always in the same place?

If you are playing with the 1.01b update, there are a few porters that will move around to various places. But the supplies are located in that spot for now.

I may add some randomness to those immobile supplies in the near future.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for that to happen, change its position in random games, I understand that the supply to find is riverine?

No, the supplies are supply dumps.. AND .. the porters. The Porters are mobile, so they will vary and some might be escorted by VM units.
