multiday turns in PBEM

Post by spence »

I've mostly played one day turns in PBEM but I'm in one now using 2 day turns. Obviously occasions have arisen where I've thought "time was awastin" when some FT TF ends its turn 1 hex away from the base at which it's next load of troops or whatever are waiting for transport or the Akagi is 1 day out of Truk, etc.
I like the way the game moves through buildup times. Is it possible to change the number of days in a turn in a PBEM game?
If possible it would seem that some sort of agreement must be reached between the players about when/how much/which way to make the change. Has anyone got a "house rules" protocol for such adjustments (if possible)?

To the best of my knowledge, you can't change the number of days once you start. I would be nice to have an opportunity to do so, but might also tip off your opponent when you suggest changing back to one turn days...
