Multiplayer Login

Post by SpicyJuan »

I convinced two of my friends to buy TOAWIV on Steam but we can't play because when they try to "Play Online" it asks for a login. What login is this? Their Steam login?

I always thought it was the Matrix forum log in. At least that's what i used ... iirc, you set it up when you first try to log in?
I'll have to dig out the computer I used to use to find the manual, is it not in that?

It appears to me, that it is indeed your Matrix Games User id stuff, and from the manual it seems that when you go to register the game, that process links it with your Matrix games user id. Not sure about how to do that process, it has been too long since I did that to remember details, but that is what creates your email server stuff.

Of course, you can play email by just exchanging the game files, too, then you don't have to use the PBEMplus plus server. I hope that helps.

OH PS it is on page 17 of the manual, the manual is linked in the top level forum list up above.
