I think most IJ units in 1942 have 7.7mm MGs which can be overflown at 3K feet - but not by a fighter on low ground attack at 1000 feet. But fighters are small and fast - hard to hit. And Airacobras are pretty robust against small bullets. You should have minimal losses.

What's amazing to me is that they suffered only 7 combat squads destroyed! With so many disablements I would have hoped for more.ORIGINAL: Lowpe
Japan is stubborn, I wouldn't attack with a division that had 50% disablements.
