¿Black hole of Burma?

Could you please explain the "Black Hole of Burma?"

Why is it that units go completely out of supply?

Is there any way to get version 1.00.052, because it is a game killer.

Does it solve also the black hole in South China? I have it from time to time but I don't understand why.

Supply flips from port to main supply. There are certain conditions for main supply to apply to recaptured ports (see, Rangoon at game beginning) but it's finicky as to when it kicks in.
