No Sound

Just downloaded both the base game, latest update and the Stalingrad DLC.

The game runs fine on my desktop but there is no sound at all. With the just the base version of the game there is the music note icon in the in game options but once the patch is applied that doesn't appear at all. System is a Dell i7 16GB RAM and NVidia GTX 1070 Graphics card. I have also made sure the driver is up to date.

I tried installing both on my laptop and it runs fine with sound on that - HP i7 with 8 GB of RAM and a NVidia GTX950M graphics card.

Any suggestions to get the sound working on my desktop please?

In the main menu/options do you not see the three music options on the right hand side?

Yes in the main menu game options the 3 sound options are there set to level 5. But there is still no sounds including no intro music. Even if you adjust them to higher levels there is still no sound.

I have opened a support ticket. Paulo is looking into it and I have just sent him a copy of the DXDiag details.
