The Revisionist War 1937 support?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had issues with the scenario Revisionist War 1937. I'm currently unable to get past a single turn in this scenario, but maybe that's just because it says it needs to be PBEM. I'll be testing that soon, if I can get an opponent but I was wondering if anyone has played this scenario.

Since I’m the scenario author, I’ll take responsibility and try to answer your questions.

I assume you’re playing TOAW IV version v06. The scenario is designed for PBM and has the minimum objectives necessary to make the scenario valid. No competitive PO in the scenario. My personal copy works as advertised so maybe the download needs to be refreshed.

When you can’t get past the first turn, what is happening? Is it crashing? Freezes up? Please be specific.

As for an opponent, I’ll sign up for a 10-turn game (with options to continue further) so you can get a feel. See if it’s the kind of game you’ll enjoy. In the meantime, follow the AAR. A second AAR will be published after the conclusion of the current game.

Hi Rhino,

Yeah, I tried setting up two games and both time something has happened where my opponent (I assume) and then I got kicked off it. Pretty much the basic issue of cease fire being declared. On the first game we got three turns in - then...nothing. Just disappeared from my game list. On the second, I got the same issue I would get (the cease fire kicking off) as if I didn't do PBEM. But I did. So... yeah.
