Easy. Calm down.
Technically, speaking, players have 30-days to play a turn. Then the game expires.
Realistically or practically, I draw my own lines in the sand.
Maybe your Yesterday, is his Tomorrow. GMT-Time.

As usual on the forum, Elvis has the right perspective( as does calcwerc). That's why we have PM system and in-game messages.

I know the Victory conditions. This is not about a player fighting to the bitter end or playing new players, it is about delaying on purpose a lost game. Technically speaking I can delay the game until 2023 easily. It is about honor and involvement, about trust...

As said before enjoy your games but don't make people lose mind time and energy just be an honest player.

Hasta la vista amigos!

ELO Ended:

ThunderLizard11 (Axis) defeats DarkGarry (Allies). Russia fell in '43 and by Aug '44 Axis had taken London and Washington and was on outskirts of Delhi. Allies nearly recaptured West Coast after Japan invasion and were retaking most of China. Strong match from a newer player.

ELO ended.

ThundardLizard (Axis) defeats ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) --- Russians got their ass kicked in Summer 1942. Nice paratroop entrapment plus Panzers galore against the Red Army trying to fight too far upfront.

First game back, rusty. Damn, got throttled in Summer 1942. Panzer-mania.

gallaghd (Allies) vs Old_Shane (Axis) = win for Old_Shane (Axis).

Allies declared war on Italy turn 1. That was unexpected and required some deep thought for Old_Shane. This strategy served to foil any long-range reinforcement of Abyssinia, losing a corps and army in transport! France vacated N Africa in favour of increased presence in France. So, the Italians (reinforced by Germans) were able to take N Africa while a combined German/Italian force made gains through Marseilles while the Low Countries were assaulted. With the Middle East in Axis ownership, the rest of the Italian army landed there, secured Iraq and threatened the East of Egypt. 8th Army took Benghazi but was stopped once the Axis forces in Algeria got turned around. It didn't help the British that Malta and Greece fell in this time. Other fronts were not outstanding, but were making normal progress. USSR still had to be conquered, but the Allies had enough. Resignation in October 1941 with lessons learned by both parties!

ELO ended:

ThunderLizard11 (Allies-Win) v. Arikogut (Axis-Loss) - Axis resigned Oct. '43. Allies hold off Axis invasion in Russia and starting to push back into Ukraine. Brittany and Normady captured, Italy knokced out and Balkans including Bulgaria captured. DEI in allied hands and China holding strong. Arikogut played well and had momentum in Russia early on. Heavy sub investment with Japan having 5 lvl 5 subs on patrol in central Pacific.

ELO game ended:

[LOSS] ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) vs calcwerc (Allies) --- This one went the distance. Berlin Buntas surrender in July 1945. Japs are doomed, as Russians have come into Manchuria; Chinamen in the wire; and Iwo Jima toast. Japs still hold Manilla, but no way can hold until May 1947. Allies will get Minor Victory or better.

Gerry got stopped at all the *key points on the board. Gave a good push into Egypt, lost Battles of El-Alamein was a bummer. Had Brits on the ropes, but nope. Successfully pulled Panzers out + Rommel, but to late to help elsewhere for the expense.

In Russia, calcwerc fortified the Rostov South territories. Where battles waged. Nazis snagged Stalingrad, and held with some stout power, but Yanks were airblasting France. *Key counter-attack, Russians waxed HQ, good move. Moscow was taken for couple turns, but you know how that goes. United States Air Force was sick. B-52 and LR means no hope in France. Gerry did decent retreat, but impossible odds.

In the Pacific, Japs did quite well. Winning major engagements with experience Ships/Planes which were always be trained by Toto. Yanks took some losses and Prestige Points not fully advancing, since the effort was typical in Europe.

Very interesting game, took several beatings in the pacific and lost all US carriers...and at one point all naval bombers, but they at least can be rebuilt.

Game would have been closer if you hadnt picked Peru decision and made early advances in China, thus triggering an early US entry. As I had all US bombers already in building queue, US got 4 heavy bombers since I could operate it out from Phillipines. Thats almost game breaking in itself and makes an invasion of France rather easy.

I felt confident from 42 since Russians were holding Caucasus and UK Egypt, but the NM game in the Pacific still made it interesting. Two-three attemps on DEI and one on Phillipines ended in disaster for the allies, and cost lots of NM. It doesnt feel historical that US and UK are struggling with NM when the war goes to an end, but it surely makes late game more interesting, since you have to keep losses in mind before launching operations. Must play more cautious than I am used to.

Ah, yeah, forgot about that Peru incident. Not sure what I was thinking. Dumb... Gave US the Pearl Harbor ships and slowed down the takedown of Singapore.

Your defense South of Rostov was quite good. Wanted to bust thru, you pinged those Romanians consistently, costing me MMPs. Stalingrad was a bitch to take also. Had to work them over for awhile. Taking Moscow (for couple turns) went quite well, had some experience Army/Artillery softening up that massive mob of Commies.

Egypt really bummed me out too. Had you on the ropes, to come up empty. Oh well, that's a make/break type play, that failed. When I saw those B-52's, got nasty. You landed in late 1943, figured I'd push the Yanks off Europe. I did accomplish destroying those Paratroops (x3) which were outta supply. I must commend you, sending them to their bitter death allowed that Beachhead to hold and win you the game. 1943 landings gotta hold. Good job, salute.

The Japs had fun with their crazy experience units. Those x2 Zeros outside Manilla were wrecking Yank Flyboys. The British Naval battle West of Singapore (twice), you were willing to take losses. Yanks took many ground loses to Toto, think I got you there in DEI. But, you outplayed me China in 1943. Despite having the Capital, those Chinamen Commies were stout with the extra Artillery/AA.

gpcgarag (Allies) lost to ThunderLizard11 (Axis). Allies resigns Dec '42. Russian still holding Moscow and pocket near Baku. Perm gone and rest of Urals would have gone soon. Strong American push in Marshalls and Gilberts. Turkey flipped to Axis and Axis moving down coast toward Egypt. Axis has toe-hold in India along with Burma and usual Pacific conquests. Well played game by gpcgarag.

No this wasn't an ELO game. We set this up separately- deliberately on my part because I wanted to test a new strategy.

If you wish to redo as an ELO game, I'm happy for a rematch :-) I don't think I'd surprise you again.
