Theatre Box Question

Playing 1941 Scenario as the Soviets. Version 1.02(?).15

Problem

A Fighter regiment got transferred to the Northern Front TB.
This Fighter regiment has one plane and was set to restricted replacements, meaning that it will not get new planes.
I can neither change the setting to normal nor transfer the unit out of the TB back to the reserve. The latter is possible by enabling "enhanced Player TB Control". But even if that is enabled, i still cannot change the replacement setting, at least not in the TB box.

I also have some groups set to manual upgrade that are also in the TB. Here, same problem.

Question

Does all of that matter or do the TBs (NF, FE, TC) "ignore" these settings?
Is there a workaround ( changing the settings without having to transfer the units out)?

Of course i can enable and disable the enhanced player control whenever i like, just wondering if there is another solution.

I would be great if the game would just set all the planes in the theater boxes to default Auto and normal ( upgrades and replacements), at least when "enhanced Player TB Control" is disabled.

You have to transfer units out of TBs to change their max toe or in case of a planes, replacements.
