Promised Screenshots ? What Screenshots ??

Post by StCyr »

Well, first there was the promise to post new screenshots in Januar. Then there should be some in the week when the forum crashed, and now again some silly guys like me wait to see what was promised to be posted after last weekend.
I guess everbody is free to post Screenshots or not, just as anybody is free to buy the game or not. But why to make a promise if you can´t or simply don´t want to keep it ?
Of course I wish the best to Matrix cause I hope for a good game. But it is really a pitty how any try to improve the game by making suggestions is blocked. I use to read this forum for month now and I simply can´t recall any positive reaction to any concern or suggestion so far. On the other side, there are two fractions of posters: one side fells the need to defend Matrix no matter what cause they hope Matrix should put all energy to the game itself and not to discussions and sreenshotspotings, the other side is concerned and would like to take some influence on thedevelopment of the game.
If I recall some postings, there will be several of historical mistakes in the game (no Matrix offical ever said any word to correct it). As it looks to me, Matrix will go on and present someday something that will not be changed anymore - and we have to accept it or to stay away from buying it. Isnt´t that a mess ?

Hello

I´m so sad because No screenshoots..........I have checked som others games at Gamespot
and there is screenshoots 1 or 2 months before release, so when you add 2 and 2 together the fact must sadly be that the game is delayed until summer I hope not, because i so wantet so play this game now.......

Hi StCyr,

Although I understand that each of you is very anxious to see the state of the game, as a tester I can assure you that in the last 6 or so months nothing has changed in the graphical area.
Remember Bart telling the people on the forum some while back that the graphical changes will be done once the game is nearing completion since they don't want to bother the graphic design people all the time for minor adjustments.
So if you want to see what the game looks like, look up the old screenshots that were posted a long time ago, and you'll see the same as the testers do.

Enjoy,
Jeroen.

Jeroen,
The screenshots that were posted on the website more than a year ago are different than the screenshots that have been posted the last time some were put into a thread here in this discussion forum. Where are they??? Needless to say, other screenshots could be taken that would show different aspects than what the most recent few showed.

Sorry friend, but your "explanation" doesn't hold water.
