How do I delete a created scenario file?

Probably a dumb question but decided to clear up my list of saved scenarios (including about ten variants of the Road to Leningrad as I learnt the game!) but - although easy to delete a single saved turn - there does not seem to be any way I can find, in or out of the game, to delete an entire file set such as "Road to Leningrad - Learning Two".

\Matrix Games\Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2\Dat\Save

Given the previous image, if I wanted to delete all the saved files associated with one of the scenarios, I should be able to select the folder and just delete the entire folder.

For example, I could delete the following folder:
\Matrix Games\Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2\Dat\Save\1941 Campaign - No Early End (3)

That is what I assumed - have done it - it vanishes from my dat/save file: But when I then reopen the game there they still are. All that I can think of is that they somehow are retained in Steam.

So baffled!

On Steam, check to see if you have your saves 'saved to the cloud' or not.

I think it is enabled by default.

I turn that off, myself.

Dark Horse: Many thanks - I had forgotten that the cloud save function over-rides and even more forgotten how to turn it off! All is now well on the eastern front.
