No point to accept quest to raise things like autocracy or any of the other cause the game WONT give you those missions till after you fail.

shit happens. Scrap stratagems often give you profile increases and thus mitigate it somehow.

Yeah, it is a issue with the game design. As Volker57 said, scrap stratagems can combat it somewhat.

But longterm your goal is to never go against a large party in your state. Which I do not think is a good part of the game.

I disagree with that Z, there are ways for the player to influence that during the game.. Not hiring their leaders, sacking/killing them etc. It is more then possible to completely eliminate a faction and get the faction you want in power.
