I expect that's due to the ongoing attached file migration. If it's not an attached file that's not showing up, please post a link to the issue.

I'd like the user name larger .
Especially as the pictures kind of dwarf them.

But it's just aestethic! Probably after a while one can pick up each poster by their picture or so.

But you have also gotten rid of what was perhaps the most important feature of the old forum for me: the ability to create a "landing page" that showed only the game forums that I was subscribed to. So now I have to go to your main page and hunt and peck among the hundreds of games, or have separate bookmarks for each game I'm subscribed to. But in fact I'm not going to do either of those things, which means that I just won't be coming back to the forum much.

If I'm missing how this feature is implemented on the new forum, pls enlighten me, because I have not been able to find it.
Post deleted - turning off notifications is in the same place as the subscriptions and it does indeed look like they are incompatible.

I don't know if the user control panel switch that turns off e-mail ability from members or administrators to contact you would work.

To Eric and his staff bringing this new format to us - thank you for your efforts! At first I was put off by the narrow presentation and lack of familiar interface, but I read some more and explored the new interface to find that most of the things I could do before are still available, if you take the time to learn how to do them in the new format.

To the users posting complaints - please wait a day and do some exploring before you post. We were told the changeover would take time and like most big projects, it is taking more time than expected. But it is starting to show its improvements and is catching up on attachments, links and stuff. I already miss the old smilies, but will wait for a week or so to see if I need any of them all that much! ;)

The link in my signature shows the code, unlike on the old site.

The forum fonts are too small and don't contrast well enough with the gray backgrounds to make the forums easy to read and the light blue forum headers are worse. I don't know what features we're getting with the new forum (maybe a functioning search feature?) but I don't care, if I can't easily browse the forum I'm not going to use it.

1) The Forum is harder to use because the commands are less responsive than the old Forum.

2) Of the four or five forums that I post images on, this Forum's way of presenting them is ugliest and hardest to look at.

3) I don't like the Forum colors and font size. Is there a way to change it ?

I am having difficulty reading the new format.
Here is a comparison with the Slitherine Forum which I can read from my usual seating position.

Is there a way that I can manually adjust the WITE forum settings to make it more readable ?

OK, having posted this screenshot I can no longer read either the Slitherine forum nor the WITE forum as it is posted above.
So what this is telling me is that I can take a screenshot that is readable but when posted it becomes unreadable. This is quite a problem.

I have tried zooming in. At 250% the text is very readable, more clear than it was before. However the screenshot is still not very readable, less so than the original page of Sliteherine if I flip back to that. However at 250% it is somewhat difficult to navigate through most posts using the PC screen that I have, which is fine for just about everything else I use it for.

Soars high above the clouds;
Meanwhile, the nightingale intones
With sweet, mellifluous sounds.

So Iain has responded to most other posted comments, but not this one. So this feature has really been dropped? Why? Wasn't the point to improve the forum rather than make it worse?

You could always bookmark the page you want.

you could use a workaround by going via User CP and Manage subscriptions. It will list forum sections on top

I have a page set up for subscribed forums just like with the old forum software. I just went to the subscription pages and they were already there. I now just bookmark that page. Not sure what the angst is about.

Note there are now only 10 posts per page (compared to the old 30 per page), and posts no longer have post numbers on them - making it hard to reference them.

Actually, if you right click the topic name at the top of the post, you can copy the link directly to that post.

Just want to say that the new forum, despite a few bugs and issues, is far superior to the old forum software. Just getting search to work will go a LONG way to help people find information. Thanks for all the work on it.

I don't think you read my post. The point is that that way I have to create 15 separate bookmarks for all of the various Matrix games that I follow. That's not going to happen.

Thanks guys, this seems to work. I could have sworn that I spent some time checking this yesterday and my subscribed forums weren't there!

One comment and one question:
1) I've turned off e-mail notifications for subscribed forums and generally it seems to work (woohoo!), but I am still getting e-mails for a few forums (in particular WitE2). Any idea what could be causing that?

2) I thought I read somewhere about someone putting the forum into "wide screen mode". Is that really a thing? If so, how to do it? I don't like having the huge black bars on both sides of the forum on my desktop monitor.
