The big problem with P-38s is their SR of 3. If they get into a tough fight they have so many damaged
air frames and they take many days to repair. Next month I start getting the first two models of the
P-47 and they have a SR of 1 so they can sustain operations a lot better.

I was going to start posting again, but in the middle of my post the forum blinked and erased my post. I guess they still have problems.
BBfanboy, it was not the pictures that was the problem. It was the time outs, errors like "Not authorized to post in this forum", sql errors,
3-4 minutes to switch to a new page, etc. These items were very irratating.

I have lots of these obsolete airframes and I thought they might come close to a

I set one P-40E squadron with pilots directly out of school on a sweep mission at 12,000 feet
and a P-40K squadron with well trained pilots on LRCAP at 15,000 feet.

So, I lost 14 P-40Es and 10 inexperienced pilots and 1 P-40K and 1 experienced pilot
and show down 10 Ki-44-IIc Tojos and some of those pilots will be killed and they
will be experienced ones.

I have lots of inexperienced pilots and obsolete aircraft, so this was a win for me.

I am moving as fast as I can to reinforce all of my new bases in the Banda Sea area. I am still
limited on assault shipping in the area, but things are progressing
