Manchurian Garrison

Post by FirstPappy »

Playing as Japan got a message that my Manchurian ground factors were below 160 and that USSR entry was increased by 5%.
Fair enough. Looked for more info in the manual by searching "garrison", "USSR" and "Manchuria" but not a word to be found on the subject. Did some trial and error on my own and found that the garrison requirements are the total of both Manchuria AND Korea.
Just something to keep in mind if you are thinking of moving the garrison out of that one Korean port :)

It’s in the game notes, I.e., scenario-specific. The kicker here is that even one turn of lapse gets the Russians in IIRC January ‘44 or so, which is a huge deal. If you really want to be sneaky you can try to land a corps late ‘43 to tap the garrisons for one strength hit on landing.
