Reloading Mines into Submarines

Post by kennonlightfoot »

I am having a problem with my minelaying subs. They don't reload with mines.

Example: Thresher has returned to Pearl Harbor after laying mines. It is still on a Sub Minelaying mission and has docked in Pearl Harbor. But the detail display for the sub shows no mines. The weapon line for the MK 10 Mines has 0 with the last entry being "(0)*!"

If I press the "Replenish from Port" command it gives me a message saying "Already loaded with mines" but the detail display still shows mines grayed out and filled with zeros.

Are the messages wrong or is something else I need to do to make it reload with mines?

You only have a limited number of each type of mine in your pools. It could be you've run out of Mark 10s at the moment. Best check your pools.

Plus rearm level of port. See page 211 on port size and 286 mine rearm costs. If you can't do something in a port always chack the rearm level.

If it is early in the war your pools are low. And if you have been sending out a lot of mining TF's then it probably is the pools....GP

It was the pool set to stockpile. Got set when following the Kull spreadsheet instructions and I missed setting it back to "N" when I did the other mines.
