Slitherine blocks people from buying games - WHY?????????

Slitherine is running some weird scam that blocks orders on this site.

I got a discount couple - the first one in years - and it lowered the price a bit but now it won't allow the purchase after 5 rejections I gave up. I understand Slitherine is forcing people to buy directly on Steam instead of here on their site to allow Steam to control all game sales, but why not be honest about it and just shut down this website instead of blocking people insidiously in order to drive away loyal customers by pissing us off?

Plus the stupid picture clicky thing I have to do every time on this site. LET PEOPLE STAY LOGGED ON!!!!!! I don't want to select chimneys and tractors each time I want to attempt - AND FAIL - buying a new game cause this stupid site can never understand that I am not a bot. Why so desperate to get rid of customers? Steam doesn't play these stupid tricks on people so they dominate game sales and have a monopoly which prevents people buying directly from developers.

Alright alright, I agree I won't buy any more slitherine games, but I really don't see the win for slitherine in this. It seems really stupid and a backstabby way to get rid of loyal customers.

Please contact our support at suppor@matrixgames.com and they should be able to figure out why the order process was failing for you and get you past it. Every day, we have many, many customers ordering without any issues at all.

I just want to be sure I got your argument straight:
Slitherine wastes money on running their own Webstore, so they can force people to use Steam instead?
Instead of just not having their own Webstore?

Captchas are nothing new.
This website like thousands others use gooles reCaptcha service.

Which does store a cookie so you do not have to do it every time a Webpage puts it out there.
Login systems also work with cookies.

If it was just the Webpage failing we could chalk it up to slitherine server issues.
But with two systems failing, I think your browser has some issues accepting, storing or sending out cookies.

Sounds like you had an issue I had before. If you enter your payment info incorrectly the first time you can no longer use your discount until the order clears and cancels out. This could take a week. I talked to Slitherine about this and they said there is nothing they can do about it because it is on the payment company side. They have requested that company to fix the issue but it never has.

The issue with the coupon getting invalidated is not something that it's in our side to fix.
We have already asked BlueSnap to fix it but they have never have been able to do it.

I tried to do various versions of an order since the first week of Feb when the coupon started. I tried each week or so and changed the items I tried to buy hoping slitherine would muddle through its bugs. Same stupid error every time. It even pestered me with the annoying bank needing a text # on my phone cause it assumes I am a criminal and of course the annoying capcom picture choosing drill all over again each time cause slitherine thinks I am criminal too.... and then the same annoying error after going through all that hassle. I think this website is too convoluted and buggy to use anymore despite being easy to use back in the days before I tried Steam. I should never have strayed from steam which is free from all these problems. I will have to do without the storm of arrows DLC and distant worlds will remain forever distant

Stop blocking the cookies of reCaptcha and the Websites. They do not work when you do that.

The issues you are experiencing are not what everyone is experiencing. They are specific to your setup. I understand it's frustrating, but you need to speak with our support at support@matrixgames.com to sort this out. There's nothing we can do on the forum here to help you further.
