New Units Placement

Post by Cfant »

Hi Playing a Pbem Stavelot. I took Basse Bodeux with ther Germans. Then I bought a STUG unit for 16 PP. Strange thing: I was able to place it in Basse Bodeux, where it started with all its AP! Is that wanted? It seemed like it beamed to this position [:D]

Many greetings,

Chris

There are two ways units can be added. 1) Playing a New Unit card. These represent reinforcements and must be deployed on a map edge and have zero APs on the turn of placement. 2) Playing an officer card. These represent troops which are already present on the battlefield and have been reorganized into an ad hoc unit by the officer whose card is played. These units are placed on the hex where the officer is located and have full movement capability.

Thanks! It was a new unit card, and even if - the hq was placed many hexfields behind. I guess it's more bug-like :D Thanks for the answer!
