AG North Turn 33

NW Leningrad has fallen as have most other areas in the sector only the small port fortress holds out.

While this is good other sectors of Army Group North's front line battle to hold it.

Russian pressure continues as they keep attacking.

AG Centre Turn 33

Orel is about to fall and both Kaluga and Kursk hang in the balance and the Russians seem unstoppable.

Right across the central front I am forced back, no matter how well prepared and dug in, the Russian attacks are remorseless.

Almost 11000 tons of supply short to keep the Army in fighting order, and I still have at least another 6 to 8 weeks of this winter.

Meanwhile as Leningrad falls Russian forces continue heavy attacks all along the front in a vain effort to reach the beleaguered port city.

AG Centre Turn 34

While the North achieves a great victory things on the central front remain in the balance, the defenders at both Orel and Kaluga hold on for another week.

9th and 3rd Pz Armee's fight desperately to hold the hard fought ground won over the summer months.

AG South Turn 34

Soviet pressure forces 17th Armee back to my first defence line despite rushing the Romanian reserves to support it.

6th Armee is coming up against relentless attacks and is being forced back also.

1st Pz still holds Stalino.

The Luftwaffe got off lightly but again The read Air Force took a beating.

Be nice to have these figures every week and bleed Russians dry.

The last stronghold in Karelian Isthmus falls we now have a direct line of support to Finland, lets hope the Finns can send some support now.

Even with loss of Leningrad the enemy continues to push us back.
