How to fix fuzzy UI on 4k displays.

If you are having issues with the game looking jagged and blurry even with very large ui then do this.

Go to the DW2 steam directory and right click the distantworlds2.exe

Select the 'compatibility' tab and then the 'change high dpi settings' tab.

At the bottom tick the 'override dpi scaling' box and select application from the drop down menu.

Apply then start the game and it should look nice and crisp if you have it set to native resolution.

I see this fix so often for so many different games; you'd think it'd either be a huge disclaimer in almost every game now or Microsoft would default it to off (who am I kidding on that last one though).

As soon as the game booted up and I saw the fuzzy text and ui I knew exactly what the issue was since it happens to so many other games. It's an easy fix for the devs though so expect a hotfix patch as soon as they get enough other bugs squashed to rate a release.
