BUG: Other empires steal repaired ships from under your nose!

Post by Flex0r75 »

Hi,

So I am repairing ships in a wreckage field, but so are other empires. I have noticed multiple times that when I finish repairing a ship it seems to turn to a neutral abandoned vessel, ready to be claimed by the first one to get to it. I get the prompt that we have repaired a vessel and if I want to investigate it. I click investigate and then there is no follow up and the ship is now in possession of another empire that happens to have ships nearby repairing other wrecks in the field at the moment of completing of the repair.

If I am the only empire present then I DO get the follow-up prompt telling me that we have boarded it and taken control. This should not be possible, the ship should always go to the one who completes the repair. There is no way to be quicker than the AI in snatching it up and that is not really fun and engaging after spending a decade to repair a cruiser. If they attack my constructor and knock it off the ship I am repairing when it is 99% complete and finish it themselves, THEN I would be fine with it going to them. But not like this...
