Custom Flags

I noticed one of the human's flags is a dark blue and for some reason it tends to blend in too well with the background. I actually created one of my own graphics for a flag for Distant Worlds Universe (my first real attempt at modding)

Is it possible to add a different flag, if so what files?

As of today, not possible without decompiling the game. Will be available for modding in the future, but the devs are focused on fixing game crashes and stability issues before expanding modding.
