Overruns?

Sorry, been away for a while on Warplan. Can somebody please explain mechanics / conditions for overruns?

Yea its complicated as it has changed a few times :

IIRC:
- The unit need to have reached a 1/3 of it strength or less (either before or during that combat)
- Also, the odds must be 5vs1 or more (or is it still 7vs1, can't remember)
- The higher the odds, the higher the chances that the overrun will happen (instead of just retreat). So more chances at 10vs1 than 7vs1.
- High resilience generals will reduce, a little, the chances their units will be overrun

Indirect considerations : High combat and mobility generals in defense, as well as the defend/hold option will increase loses on the defending units and therefore, eventually, increase the overrun chances as they will stay and defend and get very weak.
