Let's get perspective

Post by Fullervc »

I know I'll be publicly skewered for what I am about to say...

Is this game perfect? NO
Is this game an awesome balance between grognard levels of control and a more casual level that allows the player to control what detail they want? YES

I've been gaming since the '70's and this is the best I've purchased. There are specific things that I'd like to see improved, but some of the complaints on here are just silly. I appreciate the updates and continued refinement, but let's not lose perspective...this game replicates the largest conflict in history all the way company/aircraft level on a 2000K front.

OK, let the Javelins fly!

If you ain't Cav, you ain't!

I think your right.

BTW we used two sayings when I was in the Cav.

"Scouts Out"

"Lima Lima Mike Foxtrot"

Lets see who knows what LLMF means... :D

Couldn't agree more. This is the best east front game by far.

I'm excited about where the game is going and appreciate all of the support from the devs. Most of the complaining is silly.

Well, I certainly remember Scouts Out as I was a scout platoon leader at one point...I have CRS syndrome so I don't recognize the LLMF.

My one and ONLY gripe about the game...I miss the 1942 Campaign scenario. I liked playing as both the Germans and Russians.

Has anyone found the can of radio squelch or tub of track tension yet?

I’ll reveal LLMF after some folks ponder a while lol.

They got me as a newbie looking in the motor pool for “a box of grid squares” until I figured it out. When someone mentioned “cherry juice” I found the grid squares 😭😂🤣

For the uninitiated, cherry juice is another name for hydraulic fluid, named so due to it's color.

Get out there and find me a "spool of flightline" and don't come back until you find it

We'd send slugs (new guys) down to supply to pick up an ST1 (ST-ONE). They'd come back with a rock in a box

I had similar experiences in the oil patch. College boy needed a real education.

this may be an instance where US English and UK English differ radically ... given what you've just sent them out to catch :)
