Noon question on recon and artillery

Post by Antmf_slith »

I just picked up Adrennes Offensive and love that you can you recon and use artillery to attack at range. In this game is there such a thing? I dont understand artillery. When you attack with you army why can't I just attack from range at first then use my armies after I have softened them up? Please explain how this works in this game?

In answer to the question I think was being asked, the artillery is abstracted so no, not the same gameplay. There are some amazing mechanics on both sides that really bring the campaign to life and make it a hoot to play.
