i zipped them up so you can look at them they might tell you something and i have no viruses
one other thing ive seen is when i go and verify files in steam most of the times there ends up have to restore 2 files that have been lost or corrupted, hope this helps
Game version at launch ran for several hours (I think I left it on overnight) without crashing.
Since then:
Removed save games, GameSettings, GameStartSettings
Restarted computer
Changed to suggested settings and launch from AMD panel:
Try 1: started at 10:55, CTD at 10:59.
Try 2: started at 11:04, CTD at 11:08. Objects (briefly) responsive
Try 3: change to windowed from full screen, Start 11:12, spins until mouse clicked at 11:23, CTD.
Try 4: reset AMD profile, start 11:28 spins until mouse clicked at 11:35, CTD.
Try 5: launch from executable instead of launcher (this helps some other games if got directly from Matrix not make the fan go into jet-engine mode), start 11:42, CTD 11:44.
Try 6: normally from Steam shortcut (full screen), start 11:48, spins until mouse clicked 5-10 minutes later then CTD
Ran out of ideas for parameters to tweak.
On ALL of these attempts the Disk I/O showed 97%-100% in Task Manager for 2-3 minutes after the CTD. I waited until it was back to a few percent before the next attempt. So I kind of think it's not the video card (in my case).
Haven't tried the 1.0.2.7 patch that just came out
I have solved My Issue, and i think it may be a lot of other peoples issue as well, I thought i had a state of the art Cable connected to my monitor from my Video Card but unlike Nvidia you cant run AMD on cables from Xbox or PlayStation they just don't work well, the cable i had on my system was (CLAIMED) to be 48 GBs of Bandwidth for UHD 8K and all the rest of the crap it claimed.
I was getting screen lag pixels artifacts and even the old style grey static some times. so on my main Rig that is down for a overhaul on the water coolant i had 2 12 K fiber cables with ungodly Bandwidth throughput so i changed and tried both cables. 1 HDMI 1 DP the screen lag was gone and i haven't had and other issues with the graphics artifacts or any other issues. I DO however have a stall in the game every so often and it seams like that was where the game would crash previously.
Now it still stalls but the game does not lag out or crash. so may i suggest you try to upgrade your Cables with a better cable that has the Ability to handle 8 to 12 K video UHD sound and Very high Bandwidth. Yes Over Kill but you can never have enough of a good thing
I also switched the bios switch to the heavy performance setting eliminating the Zero fan speed setting this resulted in the following temp sitting @ GPU CUR Temp @ 27C and the GPU junc Temp @ 30 c and cpu @ 34 C reining res is 5120 X 1440 @ 60 Hz with HDR THX 13.2 surround and running great though my Denon AVR 8500 H Grant you the wife does not like the sound but i don't find it to bad, could be Mixed a bit better but other than that all is running find to this date if i don't come back and post i am running fine and all is well This system is as followed AMD 1950 X 16/32 Asus Zenith II 128 gigs ram Trident Z AMD 6900 XT OC Nitro
Good luck to the rest of the people working to fix their system, and people the Devs can not fix your systems that is up to you so don't get mad at them
One Last thing I have been working with AMD systems for over 20 years, and i just want to say AMD system tend to be finnicky a lot of times so you just need to play around a bit
All AMD-related issues should be resolved in 1.0.6.4. Please try the DXVK and SDR rendering settings to see if they resolve any remaining issues for you.
