Change Colony Range mid-game

Hi guys!

I know this one will be a bit tricky, but is there any way to change game options mid-game?

I want to increase colony range for my current campaign.

I've got a super fun campaign going right now, but the AI empires seem to be struggling for colonies it seems.
I wannt to give them a propper chance..
