1.0.27 When two systems are close together, can't zoom on planets

Post by Jace11 »

If two systems with planets are very close (more likely with dense cores starts and smaller area), then planets that are close to the neighboring system (or even overlapping) cannot be viewed. When zooming in, the view instantly switches to the other system. Even double clicking on the desired planet results in a selection circle with nothing in it, because the view switches to the next system. Battles at these locations etc cannot be viewed either.

You could prevent this by making the minimum distance between systems greater than 2x the maximum system radius during galaxy creation, or find a way to stop the camera switching systems automatically.

Here is an example, Lenost 6 inside a neighboring system, and it cannot be viewed at location level, also most of the planets on the left side of the Chalganna system also can't be viewed, the view switches to the closest star.
