To apply: Unzip to the CMO installation directory, overwriting as necessary (backup the existing Command.exe, just in case)

Build 1147.44 Release Notes (changes from Build 1147.43)

* FIXED: Spiral 3 Never Hits Ship
* TWEAK: Laser designators can now guide all SALH weapons (even if the weapon does not have the designator listed as a compatible director)
* TWEAK: The Tacview version checker now provides more feedback
* FIXED: Land Cover Legend Mismatch
* FIXED: Timing mismatch can lead to a unit's "Determine Primary Target" method never being run (this can lead to any number of issues related to targeting AI)
* FIXED: #14740: Certain Side Functions nonfunctional after Side added via LUA
* ADDED: Ability to open online Lua Docs standalone or on specific instruction
* Includes updated versions of all official scenarios.

Is this the same beta as the beta test version you have to apply for at the following link: https://www.matrixgames.com/news/comman ... -beta-test ? Or is this 1147.44 an "open" beta, whereas the other beta is a "closed" beta?

That one is the closed beta. 44 is a public beta as stated in the comment in the post.

The laser fix especially has sorted a long standing issue with some Saudi and Taiwanese F-5 GBU-12's.

Good that's clarified, I had wondered myself if 'public betas' were gonna start going private, glad that's not the case.

The spiral 3 thing isn't fixed in 44.
Don't call it a comeback...

Realise this will have to be posted elsewhere as well but
Just tested this again with Saudi F-%E/F combo using AN/AVQ-27 and its not actually working still but it may await the next DB update to the weapon itself?

(First time test I had left an allied Mx-15 equipped spotter too close and it was lasing the target.)

Yes, sorry! Basically, SALH weapons can be lased by any designator assuming they don't have any specific designators listed in their illuminator list (allowing us to retain that specificity in certain cases, such as with specific weapon/designator pairings); we've wiped all the illuminator lists for DB 494 but until that goes out the fix is so far only code-side AFAIK.
