A +10% would turn that into 24% and 43% at best.
A 26.4% and 36.3% at worst.

The game says “send a colony ship to colonize” (this is after they joined my empire). The game has zero information on this. What is the magic button?
Sorry but not helpful. I did all that, the game told me to "colonize" the independent. That is where it broke down. The only thing that is allowed is "send ship to planet like the chump you are." option. That does nothing.zgrssd wrote: Mon Mar 28, 2022 10:36 am0. 1. Get a Free Trade agreement, mostly via gifts
2. Wait for the Realtions to stabilize. FTA grows relationships much slower then gifts decay
3. If nessesry, bribe them again just before the colonyship reaches them to guarntee a 100%.

What exactly does the colony ship do? This game needs more than a little work. It's a total mess.
While this was happening my main fleet (which was set to manual, Guard planet) sent it's ships one by one on suicide missions (that had nothing to do with guarding the home planet).
This "is" how the game works. There is no getting around the fact that DW2 is a horribly broken mess, that does not deserve to be called a game.
1. Build a colony ship in your starbase, then wait until it is filled with peons.HateVagueManuals wrote: Mon Mar 28, 2022 12:43 pm Sorry but not helpful. Exactly part (only a little part) of what is wrong with this game. Also the game quit loading peons. So it's empty colony ships for the rest of the game. Or it could decide to fill the ship, and then NOT colonize any planet no matter how wonderful it is. I don't put that passed this game.inf666 wrote: Mon Mar 28, 2022 3:40 pm1. 2. Manually send the ship to independent colony by doing CTRL+Right-click on planet and selecting "Move to..."
3. Start giving gifts to the independent faction and offer better trade contracts. The latter helps to reduce the reputation decay.
4. Once you have 30+ (25-30 is possible but risky) relationship points then colonize the planet manually with the ship in orbit and you gain control over the colony.
Yes, the game telling you to colonize an independent colony is only helpful if you can colonize exactly at that point in time. Building and sending one would be far too late.
That would be nice wouldn't it. Alas, my hope is that I never install this game again. It's gone (and good riddance), and any saved game with it. I give up, the game is just way too sadistic.zgrssd wrote: Mon Mar 28, 2022 12:56 pmThis Problem description make no sense.HateVagueManuals wrote: Mon Mar 28, 2022 12:43 pmSorry but not helpful. Its a simple. You colony ship must "take on" with same race in potential colonyinf666 wrote: Mon Mar 28, 2022 3:40 pm1. You got a "Engagement Range" bigger then "Same Locaiton", and the fleet thinks it can archive the nessesary overmatch factor.terrorfalc wrote: Tue Mar 29, 2022 11:13 am I have a fleet that keeps attacking on it's own, does anyone know why?
The is fleet currently sitting within a system, in the same system there are some hostile starbases near some other planets. If I order the fleet to "stop" it says No Mission, however whenever I unpause the game the fleet immediately changes its mission to "Attack fortress" and then goes off to attack the hostiles, despite my policy/fleet role settings which should have turned automation off.
Version - 1.0.2.8
Military Attacks empire policy - Manual
Fleet Role - Manual
Engagement Range - 33% of Fuel Range
The hostiles are within the 33% of Fuel Range tactical setting, but surely the fleet still shouldn't attack because the fleet role is set to manual. Am I missing something here or is this a bug?
Any idea?SIBAR1T wrote: Tue Mar 29, 2022 5:59 am Good day!
Why planetary defense buildings (Planetary Cannon Batteries and Planetary Beam Defense) dont shoot to enemy ships ?
My colony was attack from Hive super carrier, but they dont shoot.
In another war with NPC empire - also dont shoot to enemy ships
Why?
1. Tourists stationsa are currently bugged. They all go to one. And it is not even the one with the highest number usually.raven1891 wrote: Tue Mar 29, 2022 5:19 pm Hi, i have some questions
1. how resort bases work? I have +6 scenery planet in my starting system. I built resort base there and it works (some income and tourist ships). Later in my game i built more resort bases at better places (+7, +9 scenery, etc) but i never saw tourist ships there. Have 10+ colonies and all tourists fly across empire to my first resort base! Its not even nearest res.base.
2. Defence pact. I have def pact with my neighbor. And some empire declare war on them and nothing happens. Im not in war. I must declare war on agressor manualy? Or it works only if AI attacks me?
PS Sorry for my english
