TB Transfers

Post by tyronec »

I have not used TB control before.
Just having a look at it, I can see the facility to transfer Axis ground units out of TBs (that is not the Reserve, no problem with it).
I can't seem to be able to transfer Axis air groups, select them within a TB and there is no Transfer option.

Also for Soviet ground units, select all the TBs and the 'can transfer' box and there are no units listed.
Soviet air units I cannot see how to transfer.
This would be on T2 with TB control selected.

What am I missing ?

Can anyone give me an explanation of what is happening here, all you players who have been using TB control ?

For the Axis TB.
I was not able to transfer air units when they are locked to this TB or there is low air % for that TBs. Unless there is a bug i am not sure what can be wrong.
Can you make a screenshot maybe?

Moving units through the CR is possible only from the reserve theater! From other theaters, the transfer of troops is possible only through the theater window in the lower left corner of the screen. When transferring troops, one must carefully monitor the percentage of support for ground troops and aviation in a given theater. It is necessary to provide at least 100% of the required forces in each theater in each type (ground troops, day and night aviation, sea patrol). Decrease below 90% is not allowed. there are still a lot of hidden problems, in fact, managing theaters manually is a game within a game that needs to be understood in detail and which brings a lot of pleasure and benefits.

Thanks, I had missed the 90% requirement so that explains the Soviet ground units.

This is T2 of the Campaign. Norway is at 112% Air and this unit has no WITRDRAWL schedule and is grey but still cannot be transferred.

Maybe its a case.
It is the same with some of the ground forces. Even if you will have 200% in TB, some of them are locked in TB

What does it say when you right click on it?

I can transfer that transport unit even with air below 60% by the way.

OK, thanks. Got it working now.
I hadn't realised you can transfer a ground unit by selecting it but to transfer an air unit you have to right click on it.

Using the right mouse button to transfer ground units is much faster and more convenient!
