log in error # 6

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

log in error # 6

Post by BrianG »

I am still having log in issue to the server

It says error #6.

Can someone take a look at this? My new opponent also has same issue. Fabrice75. We just tried to start a new game a few days ago. I have 2 other ongoing server games besides this new one.

Maybe that is an issue. Not sure if other players are having log in problems.

Thanks

I see games on the server that are still active with turns being made every day. Are you still have an issue with getting to the server? I see Pitaman is one of your opponents and I see he is in another game that is active. Is anyone else having an issue accessing the MP server?

I am still getting error 6.

Have not yet reinstalled.

I see at least 2 others have same issue. Both are players i am playing.

One just started and 1 not played for about a month.

Has Pitaman confirmed he can get in?

I asked him the other day and have not heard.

Are you still getting the error 6? This is usually indicative of a connectivity issue, or a login issue with username/password. I can see that your opponent Pitaman is active in another game that is going back and forth daily. There are many other games that are active.

Hey

I have reinstalled the game and am still getting this error.

I am able to log in for war in east 2.

And since i am not the only player with a log in error 6, I would think it's not a password issue.

My Dell may have had a fast upgrade just before this happened. But not sure the others also have Dell's.

It happened just as I got a third game going (no moves made) with Fabrice75. That set up date is about when the error 6 started up.

I am now IN!

It seems my password changed. I think to my Matrix games password. I remember about 2 weeks ago teh Matrix site all of a sudden required me to reenter the password. Maybe it also switched my war in east 1 game password as well.

Have no idea how or why but that is the answer.
