Navigating the universe is not always easy. Especially when supporting multiple fronts. In older versions of DW we were able to use grids to quickly locate specific areas of interest. I would note the x,y coordinates of a specific location so that I could quickly return when necessary.

Please restore this capability.

the sector grid of DW1 was great... helped alot too with ship designing when the range was shown in sectors.
it probably cot cut because fo the 3d... but space is basically still a plane so would be great to get such a grid back with a galaxy view button bottom right.

I agree, the grid in DW:U was really useful and I'm finding just having coordinates confusing.

Fleet ranges can also be set to sector, so having a visual representation on the map would be useful. On that subject I'm really missing having an overlay that shows fleet stance ranges (can't remember what it was called!)
