Turbo Time Compression: What could trigger it?

Post by acarney »

Problem: While scrolling around the map, time compression max's out (Flame), even though my mouse was no where near the time compression menu. It has burned me repeatedly; just a few minutes lost a mine sweeper, when the time compression from 2x to Flame.

Is there is hot key that I might pressed by accident? Very much would like to avoid max'ing out time compression; 15x is fast enough.

There is no hotkey for "flame" speed. But the + key on a numpad will increase time compression a step at a time.

Hmmm. Wonder if something tipped over onto my numeric keypad, or if the '+' key got stuck? Something to watch.

Found the problem: Have a tendency to change the time compression frequently. And I use the arrow keys to scroll around the map.

IF you fail to click on the map, after changing the time compression, and then use the arrow keys, expect the time compression to change.
