Task Forces/New Teams

Post by Capt Cliff »

The TO&E seems to be limiting creating ad Hoch Tasks Forces. I should be able to combine any two or three or more units into a Task Force/New Teams even to the point of eliminating said units. This applies especially to all the beat up units both sides end up with. Case in point is Major Parkers Task Force that defended Parker's Crossroads or Baraque de Fraiture against 2nd SS PZ. Make it an option if you like.

You should be able to combine beat-up units into a battlegroup. How are TOE rules blocking you?

best,
Vic

The receiving units TO&E doesn't match the sending units TO&E. It errors out with a message about exceeding TO&E. "Exceeding target units organizational limits". Also the sending unit can't go below 50 something, percent or strength? The two units were not of the same type.

You'll have to transfer to a (newly created) battlegroup for what you want to do. Both units. And transfer everything as the minimum power rule does not apply if you leave nothing in a unit.

Best wishes

I am having a little trouble with combining damaged units too. In the attached example, I have two units with same TO&E and they won't combine.

Also, I broke down an engineer unit into two parts, but it wouldn't let me recombine them (no picture of this one).

It may be that I don't understand how combining is supposed to work, but sure seems it could be easier....

The towed TD battalions are "multiunits" so you have 3 companies but in reality is a single unit (so the same name)!
Only the KG/Teams have no fixed TO&E !
