Error Message when startingStrategic Command War In Europe

I have recently bought a new computer and am trying to install SCWWII in Europe, original, not updated version, and I get this error message. Can anyone help. I prefer the original version for the NATO unit images. Jerry Michels

Unfortunately I cannot see the error message, the text is not legible for me and I cannot seem to enlarge the image.

I would strongly suggest using the latest version as that is currently the version we can best support, plus it simply has quite a few improvements and fixes, and could very likely resolve the issue you are experiencing.

For NATO unit images, they have not changed since the initial release, e.g. latest release uses the same NATO unit images, so I'm a bit curious on the concern here?

To confirm, you just need to turn off the 3D units in the OPTIONS screen and you should be good to go.
