The Manual

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi,

Just downloaded today and am very impressed! Good work you guys!!
Currently plowing through both the manual & quick start guide and noticed the section on attack orders in both docs still reflect that all units in an attack must have the same attack type ala Desert War. I know this has changed (Dev Diary 2).
Will you be patching the game docs as well?

Also, can defenders in the same hex also have different defend orders??

Rob.
So we're at war with the Russkies eh?? I suppose we really ought to invade or something. (Lonnnng pause while studying the map)
Hmmmm... big place ain't it??

Oh, thought we got all those bits about attacker orders. I'll have a look through it and get it updated.

Defend orders is more complicated, as there's different results depending on the defender orders. Eg when does a unit retreat? Do withdrawing units affect the odds of retreat. Also if some units have Hold At All Cost and others have Withdraw orders etc. It's just more complicated than Attack... we'll see ... ;)

Cheers,
Brian
