Can support units attached to a HQ be sent to the reserves box?

yes, but the HQ must be a certain distance from the nearest enemy hex (10 if I recall) and (I think) on a working rail line. So its the same rules as apply to sending a combat unit.

In many situations this makes it a 2 turn exercise, transfer from the commanding HQ to Stavka/OKH and the transfer to reserve

I'm trying to do this from OKH in Berlin, I just can't seem to find the right button/link to hit, either on the SU or OKH HQ counter

If you open the SU unit under OKH, there should be a transfer button top right, click this and it will give various TB options to move the SU to.

they are blocked the turn of arrival to the map or to that HQ, but as above normally click 'transfer' or use the bulk transfer option in the commander's report

Ah, blocked on turn of arrival. That's why I wasn't seeing it.

Thanks
