[WAD] Installation issue

Hello, everybody,

I already have Command game of the year edition, and the DLC northern inferno, and they work perfectly.
Installed out of the box with no customization.

Now, I've just bought Red tide DLC, but when I launch the file "CMO-MultiDLCSetup-Latest.exe", the installer is telling me that I need to install the main game (that is already installed) before the DLC.

Then I decided to use the re-register option of the update "Command-UpdateComp-v1.15.7.exe" but the Red Tide is not available in the drop-down menu.

Anyone can prettyplease tell me how can I play this add-on?

Make sure you update to 1147.42 from the My Page section of the site.

I am able to get until the drop-down menu, insert the code, and on clicking "Next" I get a popup saying "Setup has failed to detect a base game".

I'm ready to bet that it's because I have the "Game of the year" edition.

Are you using CMO or CMNAO? There's a difference.

From the "Game of the Year" description it sounds like you have CMANO.

"Red Tide" and all future DLC releases are compatible only with CMO.

You can still play the DLC that came out prior to CMO's launch with CMANO. The DLC's after that are only for CMO. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the DLC bought under CMANO can be used in CMO. But CMO was launched three years ago. At that time and for quite a while after, you got a pretty steep discount for moving to CMO.

The thewood1 is correct. All the CMANO DLCs worked with CMO when it was released. Many/most/all? have been updated to incorporate new CMO features.

Scenarios developed with/for CMO will not necessarily work with CMANO.
